Avery's Story

The cookie corrector

Many people don't think about the little details, while making a batch of cookies. But the cookie corrector pays attention to every little one. If he finds out that something went wrong with your cookies, he must fix it if he wants to sleep at night. The cookie corrector has lots of rules to teach you that he believes everyone needs to follow to come out with amazing, blue ribbon worthy cookies!
So let's start!
Number one: If not sweet, it's not a treat! Everyone's cookies must be sweet or the cookie corrector will not approve. If there's no sugar then what's the point! Cookies were not invented to be healthy, they were made to be a special snack, on special occasions. So no yucky fruits or vegetables! Only sweet ones. Zucchinis, carrots, potatoes or squash will not do! Peaches, apples and pumpkins are good because they're sweet!
Number two: A special knife. The cookie corrector suggests that everyone have one knife for just making your cookies. A big, sharp one. But be careful and clean it everyday.
Number three: Tie back your hair. Long hair no care just not apply for this situation. Nobody wants to eat a mouthful of hair. Tie it back, pin it up, put it in a hair net, just get it out of your cookies!
Number four: Doubling up? Make sure you cookies don't stick to one another. Put them on the tray spread apart from each other. Two separate warm cookies are awesome but two cookies stuck together, not as enjoyable.
Number five: The pan! You need to have a non-stick pan! If not, it'll be a catastrophe! And I certainly don't want to see tears when you can't get your cookies off the tray! You can't just slap them on there in hopes that they'll come off. And if you see this, don't just be a spectator, yell at them saying that you want your cookies now! Well, nicely. ;)
Number six: Beverages! Probably something warm, never cold. Hot chocolate, tea, coffee, warm milk. Anything warm and sweet is just fine!
Number seven: Dippings? Only if, and only if you can find something good to dip your cookies in then go ahead. But no spaghetti sauce, no ranch dressing and no hot cheese! But warm chocolate, cool pudding and milk are definitely better options!
Number eight: Shapes! It's fun to cut your cookies into shapes! For special occasions and holidays is especially festive! You can just catch that cookie in a baseball mitt and roll it up in a "traditional" ball. But traditional is boring. You have to have fun with your cookies!
These messages are brought to you by, the cookie corrector! For all your failing cookie needs!
